Line managers and employees discuss the employee’s development needs and suitable continuing education courses during regular appraisal and advancement meetings. Continuing education courses may also be decided on spontaneously or ordered by line managers.
Employees can only take continuing education courses during working hours with prior approval from their line manager.
If UZH is to contribute to the costs of the continuing education course, an agreement must be concluded (see § 16 CER). You can find the relevant template here:
