Then it’s time to switch: so-called “managed” devices from Central IT (or other UZH units such as departments, institutes or competence centers) provide the perfect carefree solution so you can work securely and flexibly at any time – including working from home.

What are the advantages of managed devices?

• Whether Windows or macOS: software and operating systems are always up to date, and all software is installed from secure sources.
• For data protection reasons, some UZH information may not be stored on private devices.
