The effect of nicotine craving on voice quality

Project Description:

This research first aims to determine whether nicotine craving has a perceptible effect on speech, as determined by naïve listeners in a perception experiment. Second, it aims to study the influence of craving on the acoustic properties of speech such as F0, jitter, shimmer, speech rate and rhythmic metrics.
